Large composite parts — such as covers and housings — and the moulds to produce them. 5-axis milling up to 16 m in length, laminate moulds, 3D scanner inspection.

The process we use to make hull and deck moulds for yachts works wherever a large, repeatable composite part is needed. We make the plug, the mould and the finished parts — one-offs and series.
We match the scope of work to the project — from a single plug to a series of finished parts.
Large composite parts made from a mould — one-offs and series.
Plugs milled on 5 axes from MDF, or from polystyrene with paste, and sanded by hand.
Dimensionally stable laminate, polished to a high gloss. We advise on flanges and mould splits.
5-axis gantry machine: 10 000 × 3700 × 1700 mm working envelope.
We compare the mould with the CAD model using a 3D scanner before it goes into production.
3D printing at up to 12 kg/h in PE and PP, including carbon- or glass-fibre-filled grades, finished by milling.
This shows what our machines and mould-making process can do. The work below comes from other industries — the same technology, a different application. Describe your project and we will assess its feasibility.
3- and 5-axis milling, large-format 3D printing and machining up to 16 m in length. The machines run three shifts, which keeps lead times short on large jobs too.

Simultaneous 5-axis machining of complex shapes, sculptures and moulds in a single set-up. The same machine prints large parts in polymer.

A large bed for sheet material, flat parts and nested cutting — fast turnaround for one-offs and series production.

Our largest machine, built for hulls, moulds and large structures. Parts up to 16 m in length.
We work from documentation, a 3D model or individual arrangements, and advise on the process, flanges and mould splits.
We discuss the project and choose the process.
No file? We will scan your part.
We mill the plug — MDF, or polystyrene with paste.
The plug is sanded by hand.
Dimensionally stable laminate, polished to a high gloss.
A 3D scanner compares the mould with the CAD model.
Parts from the mould — one-offs and series.
One mould → many finished parts
File, 3D scan, plug, mould and finished parts — the whole chain in one workshop.
Shorter lead times, including on large orders.
Every mould is compared with the CAD model before it goes into production.
We build our own boats under the Lamdo Yachts name, so we know composites from the inside.
From a single prototype to repeatable production from one mould.
Plugs, moulds, prototypes and large-format parts for clients across many industries.
Large composite parts — such as covers and housings — as well as the plugs and moulds used to produce them. We discuss every project individually and choose the right process.
Our largest 5-axis machine has a 10 000 × 3700 × 1700 mm working envelope and machines parts up to 16 m long. Smaller parts are made on machines with 4100 × 2100 × 1000 mm (5-axis) and 4000 × 2000 × 500 mm (3-axis) envelopes.
Both. We make the plug, a mould in dimensionally stable laminate polished to a high gloss, and finished parts from that mould — one-offs and series.
We scan the finished mould with a 3D scanner and compare it with the CAD model before it goes into production.
Yes. We work from a 3D file, a drawing or individual arrangements, and we can 3D-scan an existing part.
Yes. On our 5-axis machine we 3D-print at up to 12 kg/h — in PE and PP, including carbon-, glass- or natural-fibre-filled grades — and finish the print by CNC milling.
