Plugs and moulds for hulls, decks and interior parts — 5-axis milled up to 16 m in length. From a 3D file or scan to a laminate mould and finished parts, one-offs and series.

We mill plugs on a 5-axis machine, build dimensionally stable laminate moulds on them, polished to a high gloss, and produce finished parts from those moulds. We build our own yachts under the Lamdo Yachts name, so we know what a shipyard expects from a mould.
One supplier from 3D file to finished laminate part.
Hull plugs 5-axis milled from MDF or from foam with paste, sanded by hand. Machining up to 16 m in length.
A CNC-milled deck plug and a laminate mould built on that plug.
Plugs and moulds for yacht interior parts — smaller details are machined on our 5-axis machine to a precision of 0.1 mm.
Dimensionally stable laminate with a surface polished to a high gloss. We advise on flanges and mould splits.
No file? We scan the existing part and prepare the model from the scan.
From the finished mould we make parts — from a single piece to a series.
We work from a 3D file, a drawing or a 3D scan. Below are two examples from our workshop — the design and the finished part.

3- and 5-axis milling, large-format 3D printing and machining up to 16 m in length. The machines run three shifts, which keeps lead times short on large jobs too.

Simultaneous 5-axis machining of complex shapes, sculptures and moulds in a single set-up. The same machine prints large parts in polymer.

A large bed for sheet material, flat parts and nested cutting — fast turnaround for one-offs and series production.

Our largest machine, built for hulls, moulds and large structures. Parts up to 16 m in length.
We work from documentation, a 3D model or individual arrangements. We advise on the process, flanges and mould splits.
We discuss the project and choose the process.
No file? We scan your part.
We mill the plug — MDF, or foam with paste.
The plug is sanded by hand.
Dimensionally stable laminate, polished to a high gloss.
A 3D scanner compares the mould with the CAD model.
Parts from the mould — one-offs and series.
One mould → many finished parts
File, 3D scan, plug, mould and finished parts — the whole chain in one workshop.
Shorter lead times, including on large orders.
Every mould is compared with the CAD model before it goes into production.
We build our own boats under the Lamdo Yachts name, so we know composites from the inside.
From a single prototype to repeatable production from one mould.
Plugs, moulds, prototypes and large-format parts for clients across many industries.
Our largest machine — a 5-axis gantry milling machine — has a working envelope of 10 000 × 3700 × 1700 mm and machines parts up to 16 m in length. It is designed precisely for hulls, moulds and large structures.
We mill the plug from MDF or from polystyrene foam coated with paste, then sand it by hand. Example: a yacht hull plug made of MDF with filler.
Yes. On the plug we build a mould in dimensionally stable laminate, polished to a high gloss. From the finished mould we produce parts — one-offs and series.
Every finished mould is inspected with a 3D scanner and compared with the CAD model before it goes into production.
No. We work from a 3D file, a drawing or individual arrangements. If you have an existing part, we 3D-scan it and prepare the model from the scan.
Yes — we advise on the process, flanges and mould splits. We build our own yachts under the Lamdo Yachts name, so we know composite production from the shipyard side.
